Academy Trust School in Blackburn require Supply Teachers
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated group of supply teachers who can service a school in the heart of Darwen with a number of staff absences at present. The School work as part of an extended academy trust locally and with this they are supported with staffing and additional resources. The Head teacher in school has spoken to the branch recently in order to push recruitment for temporary and flexible supply staff; she is needing experienced teachers who can improve standards in her classrooms and use a range of behaviour management strategies to engage and stimulate 'challenging children'
The school have had a number of short and medium term staffing needs over the past half term and their current agency have let them down on a number of occasions. As Teaching Personnel have developed relationships within school, they are now wanting to solely use our agency to provide staff across all Key Stage groups.
With this, we are keen to recruit a number of Newly and Fully Inducted Teachers in order to meet the demand of the school. There are a number of reasons why the school cover their staff using supply and these vary from; PPA, Release Time, Short and Medium Term Sickness as well Course Cover.
If you have QTS and experience of working in schools and would like to make a difference every day then please do not hesitate to contact me in the office.
This school is improving and are keen to see people on a short term basis in order to consider for any other long term roles in school. This is almost like a showcase day in school EVERY DAY!
The process for registration is simple with Teaching Personnel; you will be expected to provide a CV outlining your recent experiences in education to display when and where you have worked with children. You will be expected to provide at least two references from your most recent employers and you must have a DBS on the update service.
