About the Role: Teaching Personnel is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 boy in Lytham St Annes. Key Responsibilities:

• ‍ Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 4 boy with SEMH needs.
• ️ Assist in developing and implementing strategies to manage emotional and behavioural challenges.
• Foster a nurturing and supportive environment to help the student thrive academically and socially.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to ensure consistent and effective support.
• Monitor and report on the student's progress and well-being.
• Encourage positive social interactions and help build the student's confidence.

Requirements:

• ✅ Experience working with children with SEMH needs, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of SEMH and the challenges faced by students.
• ️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with the student and staff.
• A commitment to making a difference in the lives of children.
