Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Accrington
1:1 Role | Full-Time | Start ASAP
Pay: £90–£105 per day
A mainstream primary school in Accrington is looking for a dedicated ASD Specialist TA to support a KS1 pupil with an EHCP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing consistent 1:1 support
- Using visual supports, social stories & sensory strategies
- Encouraging communication and independence
- Working closely with the class teacher and external agencies
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong experience supporting pupils with Autism
- Team Teach training (or willingness to complete it via TP)
- Patient, warm and structured approach
Teaching Personnel offers:
- Ongoing SEND CPD

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
