Job description

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Do you believe every child deserves the right environment, encouragement, and tailored support to thrive? If so, we would love to hear from you!

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community. In this role, you will work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, providing 1:1 or small‑group support to help them access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Location: Padiham
Contract Type: Full-time
Start Date: Monday 13th April 2026
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour

Your day may include:

  • Supporting pupils with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language needs, and other learning difficulties
  • Implementing personalised strategies and EHCP targets
  • Assisting teachers with adapting classroom activities
  • Promoting independence, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour
  • Building trusting relationships with pupils, families, and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
