1:1 Support Assistant

Are you passionate about making a difference in a child's life? Do you have a nurturing spirit and the patience to support a child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)? If so, Teaching Personnel wants to hear from you!

Position: 1:1 Support Assistant for a child in Year 5 with ASC.

Location: Bispham (FY2)

Start Date: Immediate

Pay: £14.25 - £15.20 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide one-on-one support to a Year 5 student with ASC. Your role will be crucial in helping this child navigate their educational journey, ensuring they feel supported, understood, and capable of achieving their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to the child in a classroom setting.
  • Implement individualized strategies to assist with learning and social interaction.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt lessons and activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with ASC or other special educational needs.
  • TA experience essential
  • Level 2 TA qualification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
