Job description

Empower Learners Through Tailored Educational Support

Are you passionate about helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning? TP Tutors is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition across Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas, Kent.

You will work with learners who have autism, ADHD, SEMH, and a range of additional educational needs. Through personalised learning sessions, you will help students build confidence, re-engage with their education, and work towards achieving their academic goals.

Location: Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas, Kent

What does the role offer?

Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community settings, or learners' homes

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?

• Plan and deliver personalised one-to-one tuition sessions
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs
• Encourage confidence, engagement, and independent learning
• Monitor and record learner progress
• Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to support student success

What experience is required?

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
• Previous experience in tutoring, education, mentoring, youth work, or a similar setting
• A sound understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
• Ability to travel within Tunbridge Wells and nearby areas
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
