Inspire Achievement Through Specialist Teaching

Are you a qualified teacher (QTS) looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference outside the traditional classroom? TP Tutors is seeking passionate and dedicated QTS Teachers to deliver tailored one-to-one tuition across Kent & Medway areas

You will support children and young people who may be out of education, awaiting school placements, or require additional academic and emotional support. Working with learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs, you will use your expertise to help them rebuild confidence, engage with learning, and achieve positive educational outcomes.

What does the role offer?

Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: From £25 per hour (depending on experience and assignment)
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community settings, or learners' homes

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?

• Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one lessons tailored to individual needs
• Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning styles and abilities
• Assess learner progress and maintain accurate records
• Promote confidence, resilience, and independent learning
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals involved in the learner's education

What experience is required?

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching children or young people within primary, secondary, or SEN settings
• Experience supporting learners with SEN/SEND, SEMH, or barriers to education is desirable
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
• Ability to travel across Kent
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
