Job description

Inspire Confidence and Educational Progress

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? TP Tutors is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition across Beaminster and surrounding areas.

Working with learners who have autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning needs, you'll provide personalised educational support that helps students engage with learning, grow in confidence, and achieve their goals.

Where will you be working?
Location: Beaminster and surrounding areas

What does the role offer?
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community venues, or learners' homes

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?
• Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition
• Required to travel to tuition locations in their local area
• Adapt lessons to individual learning requirements
• Encourage learner confidence and engagement
• Track and record learner progress
• Build positive relationships with families, schools, and professionals

What experience is required?
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
• Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, education, youth work, or similar settings
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices
• Ability to travel within Beaminster and surrounding areas
• Excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
