1:1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working with a client school in the Bournemouth area, seeking a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-1 basis.

In this role you will be supporting pupils with behaviour needs, including ADHD, Autism and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health).

To be in this role you should:

• Have experience working with children or young adults
• Be confident working with challenging behaviour
• Be resilient and have a good sense of humour
• Have good subject knowledge of the national curriculum
• Be a driver with a full and clean licence
• Have experience supporting Youth Work or Sports Coaching
• HLTA or Teaching Assistant experience

You will be working school hours, Monday - Friday. This is to start from September 2019, and will be on-going for the whole of the academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
