1:1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking a caring and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional learning needs at a welcoming primary school in Honiton. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop independence.

Your role:

• Provide individualised support to a pupil with specific learning or behavioural needs
• Work closely with the class teacher and encourage learning
• Support the pupils academic, social and emotional development

We are looking for:

• Experience supporting children in mainstream or SEN settings
• A patient, compassionate, and encouraging approach
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
•  A genuine passion for helping every child succeed
• Relevant qualifications or experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
