1:1 SEN Tutor
Location: Nottingham (NG13 and surrounding areas)
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualised, high-quality tutoring to a pupil with SEN, either at home, in school, or in a community setting.

Develop and implement personalised learning plans, adapting resources and strategies to suit the student’s learning style and abilities.

Support the student in developing both academic and life skills, fostering confidence and independence.
-
Monitor progress and regularly update parents/carers and relevant professionals with clear, constructive feedback.
-
Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN, including (but not limited to) ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or learning difficulties.

A relevant teaching or tutoring qualification.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships based on trust and respect.
-
Flexibility, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive.
-
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
