SEN Tutor
Location: Nottingham (NG4 and surrounding areas)
Are you a compassionate and patient educator with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs? We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Tutor to provide tailored, one-to-one tuition for pupils requiring additional support.
About the Role:
As an SEN Tutor, you will deliver personalised learning plans to students with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Dyslexia, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver bespoke learning programmes aligned with each pupil’s EHCP or individual targets

Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse learning needs
-
Build positive relationships and create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment

Monitor and report on student progress
Requirements:
-
Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Teaching qualification
-
Strong understanding of a range of additional needs and appropriate teaching methods
-
Ability to adapt lessons and communicate effectively with both students and families
-
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
