1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity at a primary school in East London.

To be successful, you will be dependable graduate who has previous experience working with children who have special educational needs and a strong academic record. The school wants graduates who can establish meaningful relationships with pupils and display a nurturing attitude to their students. The ideal candidate will have a professionalism and confidence that will encourage pupils to seek guidance and support from them. The Headteacher wants to recruit a graduate with an empathetic character and patient nature allowing them to have a truly positive impact when supporting special educational needs pupils.

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant your role will involve you supporting the development of a children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis. You will become part of a department led by an established SENCO and you will be carrying out this role under an inspiring Inclusion Manager.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
