Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant?

Do you have experience working with Autism?

Are you looking to work within SEN in mainstream schools on a 1:1 basis?

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a South Manchester based Primary school in the Northenden (M22) area to help with the recruitment of an SEN Autism support Teaching Assistant. The role is to start ASAP and will be for the full academic year.

The role will involve working with a year 3 pupil who has mild Autism, the child is non aggressive. The role will be on a 1:1 basis in the classroom. Supporting the pupil in class with their current work and keeping the pupil focused on the tasks and helping them both socially and academically. The school is looking for someone who has previous experience in this field that will be able to develop the pupil in the classroom as well as helping them improve the social aspect of things.

The school is a small 1 form entry Primary in the M22 area and has recently been rated "good" in their most recent Ofsted report. The staff in the school are very warm and welcoming so you will be well supported throughout the school. Having recently undergone new leadership the school has continued to achieve to the national standards and is looking to keep improving in the next academic year.
