1:1 Engagement Tutor
Location: Worksop (S80 and S81)
Are you passionate about helping students reach their full potential? Do you have experience in providing tailored support to individuals with diverse needs? If so, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 tutoring sessions to students, ensuring that each session is tailored to the student’s unique needs and learning goals.

Develop individualised learning plans and strategies to help students engage with and progress in their studies.

Offer emotional and academic support, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Monitor and track the student’s progress, providing regular feedback.
-
Use a variety of resources and interactive activities, to keep students engaged.

Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the student’s learning style, abilities, and interests.
Essential Skills and Experience:
-
A strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
-
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with students and their families.
-
Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
-
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
-
A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
-
A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
