Job Vacancy: Youth Worker Looking for a Teaching Assisant role 

We’re looking for a caring, approachable, and motivated Youth Worker to support students academically, socially, and emotionally. This role is ideal for someone with a youth‑work approach who enjoys helping young people grow in confidence and succeed in school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students in class and during small‑group or 1:1 sessions
  • Build positive relationships and provide pastoral support
  • Assist with behaviour management and promote positive routines
  • Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers to support student progress

About You

  • Empathetic, patient, and confident working with young people
  • Able to support behaviour in a positive, calm manner
  • Good communicator and team player
  • Experience in youth work, support work, or education is a bonus

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
