Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Youth Work Graduate Teaching assistant on behalf of our client secondary school in Bury.
If you are a Graduate aspiring to become a secondary teacher (No matter what subject you wish to teach) this is the ideal opportunity to gain paid experience prior to applying for a PGCE course in September 2018.
- Full time position from February 2018
- Temporary 1 term position, likely to last until the end of the academic year
- Supporting the learning of pupils aged 11-16 within this specialist SEMH provision across all subject areas
- Easily accessible by car or public transport
- Earn between £250 - £300 per week whilst gaining invaluable experience
As a youth work Graduate Teaching assistant within this school, the successful applicants will be required to help support the learning of pupils aged 11-16. Within this role you will be required to deliver 1:1 support across a range of subjects including Maths, English, Science, Humanities and Physical Education. Applicants are required to be educated to degree level and ideally will have previous experience working within secondary schools/working with disengaged young people.
The school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas; Manchester, Rochdale, Bolton and Salford areas.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
