The Role:

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a reputable Primary School in Leyland who are hoping to source an inspirational Teaching Assistant to support small groups of lower attaining pupils in Year 6. This role will be working 3.5 hours per day from 8:45-12:15 five days per week up until KS2 SATs supporting pupils with English and Maths, this is a new role which will most likely continue until July 2019 with the potential to extend into the 2019/20 academic year on a long-term contract.

Your New School:

This is a one form entry Primary School easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Wigan, Euxton, Chorley, Preston and Blackburn. Behaviour in school is exemplary and the Headteacher has expressed that they are hoping to secure a candidate who has previous experience of delivering interventions to small groups in order to close the gap between lower ability pupils and their peers. This role will be based across Year 5 and Year 6. The Headteacher is passionate about creating the best education possible for each pupil and is committed to contributing to each child achieving the best results possible.

To be considered for this role you must have experience working alongside children within the last 18 months, you also must have a relevant qualification - Level 2+. Core subject graduates will also be considered.
