Teaching Personnel have working relationships with various Primary Schools throughout the Accrington, Rossendale and surrounding areas and there is a current need for experienced Key Stage 2 Teachers. Newly qualified and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply and will be considered.
Short, medium and long-term positions arise in the following areas: Accrington, Church, Clayton-Le-Moors, Great Harwood, Oswaldtwistle, Rishton, Bacup, Haslingden, Rawtenstall and the surrounding villages in Rossendale. The reasons for the positions include sickness, course cover, PPA cover, paternity holiday cover, jury service cover, release time etc. We also have long-term positions such as long-term sickness cover, operation cover, maternity, long-term support and permanent cover/positions/contracts.
Teachers with experience and a desire to teach to Year 5/6 are sought after, in addition, knowledge and experience in schools with high percentage of pupils with SEN and/or EAL and pupils eligible for pupil premium funding is desirable although not essential. Knowledge and experience delivering Literacy and Numeracy intervention as well as experience working with the various phonics schemes would also be beneficial.
