Highly experienced upper KS2 Teacher required to work between 2 primary schools to provide Y6 SATs boosters

  • Working between schools which work together as a cluster
  • SATs preparation experience and upper KS2 Teaching experience essential
  • Opportunity for further teaching and intervention work in the cluster

We are looking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced upper KS2 teacher to work for 2 terms between 2 primary schools who work together as part of a cluster in Sunderland. The successful applicant will split their timetable between both schools, provided SATs booster intervention support to small groups of Yr 6 pupils at both schools. There will be a mixture of working with both higher and lower ability pupils-each needing to be supported to reach their full potential for the end of year exams. The role will begin after the Christmas break and will last for the whole school year, there is then potential for future work in the cluster. All candidates applying to jobs through Teaching Personnel must undertake or have undertaken an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS – Full assistance provided (AGY)

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education and Hexham Newcastle Diocese with additional local school partners. These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Child Protection in Education, Prevent Duty, an accredited Holistic Approach to Behaviour Management, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Read Write Inc. and Safeguarding. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you a highly sought after candidate.
