Part time Year 6 Teacher required within a ‘Good’ Blackburn CE Primary School.

  • A proven track record of raising attainment within Year 6 and excellent classroom based references from within the last twelve
  • Opportunity to work within a thriving ‘Good’ Primary School, which is head towards ‘Outstanding’ located in Blackburn.
  • Experience delivering ‘Read, Write, Inc’ Phonics and Numicon is highly sought after.

Teaching Personnel has been approached by a ‘Good’ Primary School located in Blackburn for a part time Year 6 Teacher. The school is striding towards an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted within the next twelve months and wants to recruit a hardworking and passionate KS2 Teacher.

The SLT within school are incredibly supportive of all of their staff and this is shown through the continuous professional development on offer and regular career progression.

‘Our school provides grounding in the Christian faith for all its children with emphasis on collective worship as part of its daily life.

Christian values are built into the ethos and teaching of our school with the support of all Governors and staff for its Christian foundation. We also seek to encourage an understanding and respect for other world faiths.

Our vision statement is: we will ensure excellence is encouraged, minds are opened, diversity is embraced, respect is expected and talents are nurtured under the umbrella of God’s love.’

The post is to start in November 2016 and run through until at least Summer 2017, with the opportunity to extend go permanent for the right candidate.

The class consists of 28 pupils of mixed ability. Behaviour in school is ‘Good’ in school but there are some challenging pupils within this class.
