Year 5 Teaching Assistant, Chorley

The Head Teacher of a primary school in Chorley is looking to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide support in their Year 5 class from 12^th October 2020. The role is temporary until the end of the academic year. Working hours: 08:50 – 15:30.

The role will entail providing general teaching and learning support in Year 5. This will include, but is not limited to, supporting small groups of learners during lesson times, carrying out administrative tasks and delivering out-of-lesson intervention sessions in English and Maths.

In order to be successful in your application, you must have a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and 1 years’ experience in Key Stage 2. Experience of delivering English and Maths intervention sessions is also essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
