Year 5 Teacher Sefton

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a client school that are looking to recruit a KS2 Teacher to start in November 2017. The school is a larger than average, Primary school based in Sefton. The school have a teacher going off on adoption leave and have a need for a Year 5 Teacher.

It was graded 'Good' in its last Ofsted report and by the end of Year 6, standards in mathematics are high and in reading and writing are above average. Pupils' progress from their various starting points is outstanding in mathematics and good in English. Teaching is consistently good across the school, with some that is outstanding.

The Year 5 class consists of 26 pupils from varying backgrounds and mixed ability. There are2 pupils in the class with additional needs however; there is 1 Teaching Assistant in place to offer support and guidance throughout the placement. The school are looking for someone with experience working in Key Stage 2 within the last 12 months.

The school has secure gated parking on site and is easily accessible from all around the city. It is located near junction 6 of the M57 and East Lancs road. It is also has a nearby train station which runs on the Merseyrail line.
