The children, staff and governing body of a local school based in Wandsworth are looking to appoint a skilled enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join their team in continuing to raise standards and provide quality experiences and opportunities for our children in year 5.

With high academic expectations they also give equal importance to developing well rounded children equipped with the skills for living life in the modern world and ensuring the best possible outcomes for them on all levels.

The successful candidate will:
- Be a positive role model for the children and inspire them to be the best they can be.
- Provide evidence of consistently good to outstanding teaching and learning that inspires and challenges all of the children to achieve best outcomes.
- Have excellent subject knowledge. Make effective use of teaching assistants to support and enhance learning and achievement including adding extra challenge for the most able.
- Work creatively to provide positive experiences for all the children including the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and differentiate their learning to raise their attainment and progress.
- Promote consistent high quality marking and feedback that ensures children are aware of their next steps in learning and that all abilities are challenged.
- Use a variety of strategies that promote independent learning.
- Create an engaging classroom environment which supports the curriculum inspires learning and results in good outcomes for the children.
- Be committed to accessing appropriate CPD engage in coaching peer observation and mentoring opportunities to continue in your personal and professional development.
Candidates must have experience of teaching within a primary setting and NQT's are welcome to apply.
