Year 5 Intervention Teacher

A school within Batley is currently recruiting a Key stage 2 Teacher to work with a year 5 class. The role will begin in May 2022 and has the potential to run to the end of the academic year with the right candidate.

To be considered you will need to:

• Consistently deliver effective lessons and good/outstanding pupil outcomes. 
• Secure and sustain a positive climate for learning and behaviour of pupils.
• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom.
• Encourage pupils to interact and work cooperatively with others and engage, challenge, motivate and reinforce self-esteem with all pupils in activities.
• Contribute to and participate in the development of a whole school approach to the development of the curriculum.

You will need deep knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum alongside extensive intervention strategies. The successful candidate must hold QTS and have a DBS on the Update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
