Year 5 Teacher (Maternity Cover) – September Start – Bootle

Full-time | Teaching Personnel | Temporary Contract

A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Bootle is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September 2025 to cover a maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where creativity, strong relationships, and high expectations are at the heart of teaching and learning.


The Role:

  • Position: Year 5 Class Teacher

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract: Full-time, maternity cover (minimum two terms)

  • Location: Bootle, Merseyside

  • Pay: £130–£200 per day (dependent on experience)


What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential

  • Experience in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5

  • A confident, engaging classroom presence

  • Strong behaviour management and a commitment to inclusive learning

  • Ability to plan and deliver fun, purposeful lessons in line with the national curriculum
