Primary School in Stoneycroft (L13)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Key Stage 2 teacher to join a dedicated staff team within a well-resourced KS2 department. Applicants must have prior experience of teaching the UK curriculum and should feel confident teaching across the Key Stage.

We are looking for a teacher who demonstrates the following qualities:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status with a minimum of one year’s experience teaching in a UK school within a KS2 classroom.
  • Has a proven track record of planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum, with a sound understanding of the importance of data analysis.
  • Has the ability to inspire pupils and support colleagues, showing passion and commitment to raising standards.
  • Uses available resources, including ICT, effectively to enhance pupils’ learning experiences.
  • Is confident in creating an inclusive learning environment and skilled in supporting pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN), thereby fostering their educational development.
  • Possesses up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of various teaching and behaviour management strategies, and is able to implement these effectively to achieve positive outcomes.

This school serves a diverse pupil cohort, making experience in differentiating for children with EAL and SEN essential. Additionally, experience in planning for and working alongside support staff is required.
