Year 5 Primary Teacher – NG5 Area – September Start

Location: NG5, Nottingham
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time (term time)
Salary: £140 – £190 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher or an enthusiastic ECT ready to inspire a Year 5 class? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and well-respected primary school in the NG5 area of Nottingham to recruit a Year 5 class teacher starting in September 2025.

The Role:

  • Full-time Year 5 classroom teaching role

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Monitoring pupil progress and liaising with parents and staff

  • Participation in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school activities

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Recent experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 5

  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies

  • A passion for making learning enjoyable and accessible

  • A positive, reliable, and proactive approach to teaching
