Year 5 Teacher – Full Time (Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm) – Alfreton

Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic Year 5 teacher for a role with one of our partnership school based in Alfreton. This is a full-time (Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm), long term position starting as soon as possible up until July 2020. 

The schools main priority is to develop the full potential of every child to thrive in a changing world. They are looking for an experienced teacher to join the school and encourage children to do their very best.

To achieve this vision the school need a teacher who can:

Nurture: Whatever the starting point of each child, help them to grow and develop their skills academically and socially across a broad curriculum within a safe environment.

Achieve:  Working in partnership with parents/carers each child to make progress to achieve the highest level of understanding and skill of which they are capable.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • Relevant experience teaching within KS2 (Preferably Year 5 experience) who can do prep, planning and carry out assessments.
  • PGCE (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of the curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS on the online update service
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 relevant references that we can approach
  • A confident approach, knows how to adapt well in different situations
