Year 5 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Are you an exceptional primary school teacher, seeking a new challenge within a thriving York primary school?

I am currently supporting a large, vibrant primary school situated in the YO24 area of York. The school require an inspirational and committed primary school teacher for a maternity cover to start in September within a KS2 class. The successful applicant will have full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 5 class for the Autumn and Spring terms (2019/2020).

Ideally, we are seeking a teacher who:

• has at least 1 year of teaching experience
• can demonstrate good subject knowledge and create an inspiring learning environment
• can differentiate teaching for children with a wide range of needs and abilities
• is enthusiastic, friendly and a team player

This a fantastic primary school, with an inclusive team of staff and supportive senior leadership. The school is graded 'Good' by Ofsted and has may opportunities for teachers to develop professionally. The children are at the heart of the school and pupils and staff alike enjoy attending.
