Year 5 & 6 Supply Teacher – Full Time
Central Northampton | 8:30am – 3:30pm | Start Date: Monday 2nd September 2025
Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming and vibrant primary school in Central Northampton is seeking a full-time Year 5 & 6 Supply Teacher to join their team from Monday 2nd September 2025.
This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT who is confident working across Upper Key Stage 2 and ready to make a positive impact on learners’ progress and development.
The Role:
-
Teaching a mixed Year 5 and Year 6 class
-
Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
-
Delivering high-quality lessons and maintaining strong classroom management
-
Working collaboratively with the wider KS2 team to support planning and assessment
-
Creating an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
✅ Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 preferred
-
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
-
Ability to inspire, motivate and engage pupils
-
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
-
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
