Year 4 Teacher required in Warrington

  • 1 Year temporary contract with permanent options
  • Enhanced DBS required (on the update service)
  • Opportunity to work in a 'Good' school

Here at Teaching Personnel we have had a request for a Year 4 Teacher to join one of our client schools in Warrington. With a member of staff going off on a maternity there is an opportunity for a long term supply position for 1 year with the potential of the role going permanent if the placement is successful.

The school is rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted where effective leaders and managers have brought a good measure of improvement since they started. Incisive self-evaluation has resulted in a rise in attainment. Senior leaders have a clear and accurate view of the school’s work and are committed fully to its further success.

There has been recent improvement in attainment at both key stages and especially in reading and writing at Key Stage 2. Mathematics has also had a recent increase in progress levels due to Every Child Counts programme (a scheme to improved basic number skills) while they are in Year 2. The school have asked for vibrant teachers to apply who are willing to fully immerse themselves into school life.

All qualified primary teachers are urged to apply straight away if they would like to be considered for this position. You will need to have an enhanced DBS certificate (with update service) or be eligible to apply, there is no formal interview process but a meeting with the cover team and some paid supply work to test your suitability.

For further information regarding this vacancy or if you are looking for a long term position, please contact Jack in the Liverpool Primary Branch.
