Year 4 Teacher - Primary School

A Primary School located in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source the ideal candidate for a Year 4 teaching position within the school. The teacher will be needed with an immediate start date and will be covering a maternity cover therefore you would be needed until the end of the academic year. The role will be to work 5 days a week on a full time basis; planning, delivering and assessing in line with the Year 4 objectives.
The school require the applying candidates to hold Qualified Teacher Status and have recent, relevant experience working in a Key Stage 2 class room setting. You would be teaching a class of 28 pupils, the majority are working at the age related expectation. There is an experienced full time teaching assistant in the classroom who leads booster sessions two afternoons a week.
You would be expected to attend staff meetings, INSETs and Parents Evenings throughout the academic year. This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career within a Primary school, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour.
To be considered for the role, you must have:
- Experience delivering the Year 4 curriculum
- Excellent classroom practice
- A confident approach, knows how to adapt well in different situations
- PGCE (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Good behaviour management
