Year 4 Teacher – Teaching Personnel

Are you an engaging educator ready to make a splash in a vibrant Bury community? Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly, two-form entry primary school in Bury.

This is a full-time, long-term role, starting as soon as possible and running through to July 2026.


The Role

As one of the Year 4 teachers, you will work closely with your partner teacher to deliver a creative and balanced curriculum. The school is known for its strong “community feel” and is looking for someone who can build excellent relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Planning: Work alongside the parallel Year 4 teacher to share ideas and resources.
  • Engaging Delivery: Inspire a love of learning through interactive and inclusive teaching.
  • Assessment & Progress: Monitor pupil development and implement interventions where needed to ensure every child thrives.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment where children feel confident to take risks in their learning.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience advantageous)
  • A positive, proactive attitude
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
