Job Title: Full-Time Year 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield and Barnsley Area
Pay Rate: £77 - £85 per day (Depending on Experience)

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming school in the Sheffield and Barnsley area. As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them achieve their learning objectives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote a positive ethos.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the school community.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for education and a commitment to the development of young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic school environment.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
