Job description

We are currently working with a well-established school in Bolton (BL3 postcode) to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 teacher for a maternity cover position. This full-time role is set to begin on 2nd January and will run until the end of the academic year, providing an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to join a supportive and dynamic school community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons tailored to meet the needs of all pupils in Year 3, fostering both academic progress and engagement across the curriculum. Key duties include planning and preparing stimulating learning activities, maintaining a positive and safe classroom environment, and carrying out regular assessments to monitor pupil progress. In addition, the teacher will play an important role in supporting pupils’ social and emotional development, while collaborating effectively with colleagues, parents, and external partners as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
