Job description

Job Title: Year 2 Teacher - Ormskirk

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Ormskirk

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £145 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 2 students in line with the national curriculum.

2. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning.

3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.

4. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the overall development of students.

5. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Relevant degree in Education or related field

- Experience teaching in a primary school setting

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience teaching in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1

- Excellent classroom management skills

- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Education

- Specialism in a particular subject area

Working Conditions:

- Full-time temporary position

- Working hours in line with school hours

- Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular responsibilities

- Collaborative work environment with support from school staff and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
