Maths and English Intervention Teacher- Part time working hours in Colne Primary School

  • Fully and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply
  • Daily pay of £105 upwards, depending on role and experience
  • Experience in delivering the KS1 Curriculum is a necessity

Are you looking for a part time role? Think you have something to offer in the classroom? Then Teaching Personnel may have the perfect position for you. This year we have received a number of calls from schools in the Colne area stressing that there is a need for part-time Maths and English intervention teachers; to work on a 1:1 basis with individual children and small groups out of class.

The schools in question have used the agency as a way to appoint flexible members of staff who can work on a part time basis over a period of a term-three terms. This is a great way to secure yourself a teaching role in September which doesn’t have the stress and responsibility of a full teaching role. You will be expected to plan and deliver your own work on a weekly basis in line with the medium term plans in school, often completed alongside the dedicated class teacher. The school will then expect you to develop areas of misconception and move the children along using next steps in learning.

If you are interested in the following work conditions then please do not hesitate to contact me…

-Part time working hours

-1:1 and grouped intervention work

-Flexibility on how long you want to continue in the role

Please call me on 01772 842155 or email me at howard.taylor@teachingpersonnel.com If you have an update CV then this will ensure the registration process is quicker.
