We have had a request for an inspiring Year 2 Teacher to work in a primary school that ‘Requires Improvement’. They are looking for a teacher to improve low reading, writing and mathematics skills and the children do not develop quickly because pupils do not practise these sequentially and systematically and use these skills in other subjects.
The school’s leaders, including governors, know what needs to be done and are determined to make teaching and achievement good. The school are looking for someone to accelerate pupils’ progress in reading, writing and mathematics towards the national average for Key Stage 1 with engaging and enjoyable lessons.
