Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Levenshulme, seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September. The Role

As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Plan creative and inspiring learning experiences that promote progress and enjoyment
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil attainment, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can succeed
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to maximise pupil outcomes
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and its vibrant community

✅ The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

✔ Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

✔ Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice

✔ Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills

✔ Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

✔ Can adapt teaching to support a diverse range of learning needs

✔ Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for education
