YEAR 1 TEACHING ASSISTANT

We are looking for phonics specialist Teaching Assistants to work in our client schools across the Tameside area.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Year 1 class teacher as a general teaching assistant but will also be required to deliver phonics intervention sessions across both of the Year 1 classes. The successful candidate will be working with children who need extra support to help raise attainment in reading, writing and spelling as well as phonics.

Our schools are looking for enthusiastic teaching assistants who are motivated by raising attainment and assisting children's learning across all areas.

To be considered for the role, you must:

• Have extensive phonics knowledge ideally Read Write Inc
• Be confident delivering intervention sessions to children across KS1
• Be an enthusiastic practitioner and positive role model to children in KS1 and across the school
