Contract: Temporary (potential for permanent placement)

Hours: Full Time

Pay Rate: £120-£232.56 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Speke. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils at the start of their learning journey, delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development through differentiated learning strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure every child thrives.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and pupil well-being.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching KS1.
  • Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
  • Ability to create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
