A lovely expanding primary school in Central London, in the Borough of Westminster that are looking to recruit an outstanding KS1 phase leader ASAP. The school recently had an OFSTED and were graded as ‘Good’ with some elements of ‘Outstanding’. The Headteacher is looking for an ambitious, kind, inspiring and caring teacher that gets excited by a challenge, supporting other staff and inspiring young minds.
The school is currently going through an exciting time as they expand to three forms of entry from October half term. The school is going through a massive expansion plan which will see their building grow by double its original size. The school will benefit from up to 12 new classrooms and a brand new hall which will be used for PE. The school already benefits from a playing field and a large playground.
Pupils have exemplary behaviour which contributes strongly to the progress they make in lessons. They love learning and enjoy coming to school. All children feel safe and valued in the school and bullying is not an issue that the school tend to face. Parents heavily praise the way that children behave throughout the school and praise the teachers for the hard work that they put in to ensure that no child is distracted through their learning.
The majority of students that attend the school come from a middle class background and the proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language is significantly lower than the national average.
As a key member of the SLT you will have the opportunity to accelerate your career. You will lead, guide and support individuals throughout the phase to be ‘Outstanding’. You will also play a key role in the teaching and learning aspect of KS.
