Teaching Personnel are working with schools in BD3 and the surrounding areas and need to recruit a quality Year 1 teacher for the Barkerend area. We are looking for someone who is full of energy and has the ability to keep children engaged in their learning.

We are ideally looking for someone who has had previous experience within this Key Stage. The school are very supportive and the atmosphere is a very positive one. Children enjoy being at school therefore are eager to learn.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure Barring Service, assistance can be given.

Teaching Personnel are also working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers such as the National Association of SEN and Leeds Trinity University to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities, covering areas such as; assessment for learning, planning for progression, effective behaviour management, teaching for learning, literacy and numeracy in the curriculum, using data, SEND, effective adult learning support, supporting pupils with BESD, Team Teach, Moving & Handling, Safeguarding and the Ethos in Catholic Schools.
