Teaching Personnel's partner SEMH secondary school in Exeter, Devon is looking for a dedicated Learning Coach to join their team and make a real difference in the lives of students.
Job Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent
- Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
- Pay: £90 - £100 per day (based on experience)

A Learning Coach has the following responsibilities:
- Provide academic support and assist with assignments.
- Help students develop study skills, time management, and organization.
- Offer emotional support and encourage positive behaviour.
- Work with teachers to implement personalized learning plans.
- Track student progress and provide feedback.
- Foster independence and self-confidence in students.
- Assist in managing behavioural challenges and promoting self-regulation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for supporting young people with SEN
- Education or care experience (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience
- Ability to build rapport and trust with students
- Proactive approach to supporting student development
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment
