Job/Person Summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, creative and inspirational Teacher of Art to join our committed and successful department. This post is suitable for either an experienced teacher or a NQT seeking to start their career in a supportive and development focused environment.
This school is an 11-16 comprehensive school with an extremely able cohort, is an Outstanding School (Ofsted 2010) that provides a forward thinking, outward looking and vibrant learning environment. We pride ourselves on the strength of staff and student relationships, and a strong community is at the heart of our ethos.
Our shared philosophy is embodied by our strap line Achievement | Excellence | Integrity.' Under the leadership of our new Headteacher we are working together to continually raise expectations, improve our practice and increase the standards of student achievement in order to secure our outstanding judgement for the future.
Our Art Department has two large teaching rooms and is well equipped with a kiln, computers, the latest editing software and digital cameras and is supported by an Art technician. We can offer you:
* a highly professional and collaborative working environment focused on developing a love of learning;
* the resources and facilities to continue to improve students' progress and attainment;
