Welsh Teaching Assistant

A partner Primary School of Teaching Personnel in Cardiff are seeking a full time Welsh medium Teaching Assistant.

We are looking for people who:

• Can speak Welsh fluently
• Has previous experience working with children
• Has a confident, resilient and positive personality
• Understanding of how children learn and develop
• Good literacy, numeracy and reading skills
• Has an up to date DBS and is registered with the EWC (although this can be done through Teaching Personnel).
• Knowledge of safe guarding (can also be done through Teaching Personnel)

The role entails:

• Working with children 1:1
• Running intervention groups (Maths and English)
• Assisting the teacher with general tasks
