An open vacancy has come available at a "Good" two form entry primary school in Cardiff. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their small specialist class that is made up of 5 pupils aged between 5 and 7 who have speech, language and communication difficulties.
This Welsh Medium Primary School has been praised for its highly effective and dedicated senior leadership team and how well they always encourage all the children to achieve their personal and academic potential. As a new member of staff in this team you will be provided with consistent support and vast opportunities to professionally grow.

This position will be working alongside two other qualified teaching assistants, where you will be breaking down set class work into manageable sections and constantly making sure pupils fully understand the task in hand. The school have highlighted that due to these pupils requirements, they are seeking an individual who can constantly encourage and motivate them, meaning you must have an upbeat and nurturing approach.
