Welsh-Medium ALN Teaching Assistant – Cardiff (CF5)
Full Academic Year – September Start
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Welsh-medium primary school in the CF5 area of Cardiff. This role is based within the school’s Special Needs Unit, supporting a small class of pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

Role Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support for pupils with ALN

Lead and support small group interventions

Work closely with the class teacher and ALNCo to deliver tailored learning activities

Foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
-
Support pupils with a wide range of needs, including speech and language, autism, and moderate learning difficulties
About You:
-
Fluent in Welsh (spoken and written)
-
Previous experience supporting children with ALN is desirable
-
Patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting additional needs
-
Confident in delivering structured interventions and supporting emotional wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
