Are you an enthusiastic Science Teacher looking for your new teaching post?
Are you looking for work starting in January 2018?
Teaching Personnel has an Ideal role for you!
Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a school in the Burnley area to recruit a Science Teacher to start in January 2018 for a 2-term contract through to the end of the academic year. Should the candidate be successful in the post then they will be considered for a permanent position starting in September 2018. The school is looking for a teacher happy to teach up to GCSE level and be experienced delivering the new science specifications.
The school has been graded "Good" in all areas by Ofsted in a recent inspection. The school have been commended for the improvements made by the senior leadership team regarding the behaviour in school and the progress made by pupils. The school are now looking for pupils with a strong ethic regarding behaviour management to uphold the improvements which have been made.
A suitable candidate should be experienced delivering science across all 3 specialisms to GCSE level. With experience delivering one of the specialisms to Higher level GCSE, or ideally to A-level. The school follows AQA science across both GCSE and A-level courses and so experience working with this exam board would be preferable, however, not essential. Successful candidates will benefit from negotiable pay rates between £100-140 per day and a highly supportive school environment.
If you feel that you would be suitable for this role then make your application by sending your CV and contact details. If you would like to find out more, contact Rob at Teaching Personnel as soon as possible
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
